Great Success!

Well guys we did it!!

Its been an amazing 24 hours for Democrats, topped off today by Rumsfelds resignation. We can definitely sleep well tonight with a smile on our face knowing we did great. The Democrats took control of the House and it for sure seems that we took control of the Senate as well. Here in Pennsylvania we were able to kick Santorum out of office by 18%, and Rendell won by 20%. Although Lois Murphy did not win, Patrick Murphy and Joe Sestak were able to win which is awesome. For anyone who needs a quick laugh...

Next Meeting:
Thursday, Nov. 16th @ 7pm
3rd Floor, Ross Commons

No meeting this week but the next one will be important. We will begin to really strengthen and improve the organization. Look for another email about the meeting soon. Thanks again guys for all your help these past 7 weeks, it definitely was worth it!

Polling Place

For those registered here on campus, this is your polling place for tomorrow:

Community Education Center
3500 Lancaster Ave.
Across from 7-11

The polls are open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Bring ID and your registration card if you have it. Make sure everyone you know who is registered goes out and votes! The polls might say we're ahead, but tomorrow's vote is what counts.

Anyone who wants to get paid $75 for working for Rendell tomorrow will have to meet at 9:45 AM at 3443 Sansom Street (across from La Terasse). You will be gone from 10AM-8PM, unfortunately I can not make it but there are a ton of Drexel students and Penn students who are going and its gonna be awesome. No jeans allowed they want everyone to look presentable.

Tomorrow night at anytime around 8-9 I will be having people over my apartment at 3318 Arch St. to celebrate all of our hard work and watch the results. We will have snacks and some drinks, so I hope people can make it. When you get to my apartment just ring the top buzzer or call me at 585-507-8407.

This is it guys we can do it!!!

It's Almost Here...

Thanks to everybody who made it to the rally and helped us fill the hall for Rendell and Casey on Wednesday. I think the rally went really great and everything worked out, so thanks again!

Weekend Rallies
Click for Details
This Saturday Al Gore, Barack Obama, Ed Rendell, and Bob Casey will be going to multiple counties all day just getting everyone who volunteers excited for the day and weekend. If anyone will be around those suburbs it would be an amazing thing to attend and volunteer for. Email me if you have any other questions.

(Paid!) Volunteering on Election Day and Before
So far it seems that many of us will not be able to do the entire day of volunteering for Rendell on Tuesday because it goes from 10am-8pm. I will still be doing it, so if anyone can make it that would be awesome. We will be making $75. I am going to try to set up something else for those people who just want to volunteer for a few hours, so look out for another email with that info very soon. If anyone is interested in volunteering for Patrick Murphy on Sunday they are paying people to do so and even picking them up here. So let me know.

Election Night Celebration
Tuesday at around 8 or 9 I will be having people over to celebrate the end of the election, the Democratic success, and all of our hard work so please feel free to come by 3318 Arch St for an awesome time! That's all I have for right now, email me if you have any questions and I'm sure you will hear from me soon. Thanks guys!
